The Royal Holloway University Vintage Kilo Sale - May 2026

We are very excited to be bringing our Vintage Kilo Sale to Royal Holloway University this May for the very first time!

Browse rails and rails of preloved and secondhand clothing, all priced by weight at just £20 per kilo. You only pay for exactly what your items weigh — no rounding up — so you’re guaranteed to find a bargain.

There’s something for everyone, with a huge mix of menswear, womenswear and unisex pieces across a wide range of styles, sizes, brands and eras. Expect classics like denim jeans, branded sweatshirts and printed tees, alongside vintage gems such as 60s dresses, 70s shirts, 90s sportswear and Y2K skirts. You’ll also find plenty of summer staples including festival shirts, shorts, windbreakers and more.

With the Royal Holloway Summer Ball coming up, we’ll also have a selection of standout pieces perfect for the occasion — including vintage dresses and statement looks. (Selected Summer Ball items will be individually priced.)

How does our kilo sale work?

Browse our rails of vintage & preloved clothes & choose what you love, like in any other shop! You can try on items in the fitting rooms if you like.

You don't need to bring a bag, and please keep items on their hangers until you pay - we'll take them at the till!

When you are ready, take your chosen items to the till to be weighed. Everything is £20 per kg. The price you will pay is the total weight of your chosen items - for example: 0.5kg = £10, 0.1kg = £2... You only pay for exactly what your items weigh and there's no minimum spend!

Pay cash or card for your items... Then take them home and enjoy your new-to-you wardrobe!

How much is a kilo?

Everything is £20 per kilo... you only pay for exactly what your chosen items weigh and there's no minimum spend.

You are welcome to weigh your items before purchasing to see how much they will cost... the lighter the item the cheaper it is!

Price includes VAT, and you can pay with CASH, CARD or CONTACTLESS. Please note we have a £5 minimum on card.
